    Network Connectivity Issues With Ethernet

Is anyone else having any problems having the Xbox Series X connected to Ethernet? I plugged my ethernet cable that I usually have in my PC into the Xbox, while I downloaded game updates etc, then connected back to the wifi. Everything was running fine until today, there was a problem with Destiny 2 so I have to uninstall and re-install it, so I tried to use ethernet again and it will not connect, just keeps flashing to no network and wifi, but if I plug it back into my PC I get connectivity. I am going to try another ethernet cable later and see if that works.

Hmm sound's kind of wierd. but if it works fine in your laptop im not to sure what you could try is buying another ethernet cord from walmart / local store for around $10-$15 plug the ethernet into your laptop and make sure its connected to the internet
and use the second ethernet cord and plug into your laptop then the back of your xbox and connect to live that way you will need to look at a tutorial which can be found here:

My Ethernet cable will not give me internet to my x box x , but I plugged my box 1 in and it worked fine…any fixes ?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

The issue can be with your Xbox One X's ethernet port. Can you please plug in the ethernet cable again and then test the network connection? If there is an error or issue it will show up from there.

Settings > General > Network Connection > Test Network Connection.

Also, if you can try a different ethernet cable to confirm that would be great.

When I turn my xbox on, my screen is completely blank unless I choose to power it off

"it signs in a bit sluggishly but works nevertheless"

This sounds more like you have a network issue.

Are you using WiFi or wired ethernet to connect to your network hardware?

Try wired ethernet if using WiFi.

Network connection solution may assist you.
