    Network Connectivity Broken in latest Build Update (Help!)


    I'm part of the Omega group and my Xbox One X recently installed the latest build available. After updating, the Xbox showed that it was offline. I checked network settings and the status was that there was no IP Address. My Xbox is always connected directly to my Linksys Router via Ethernet. I switched to 5 Ghz Wifi and the same thing happened. Also tested connected directly to my standalone modem and to the hotspot on my phone. Got the same issue in all cases (no IP Address). I tried clearing the cache on the Xbox and then reset Network Settings under the Alternate MAC Address Menu. Same thing happened. I contacted Xbox Support and they had me do a full reset. Ran into the same issue during the setup Wizard. We attempted the Offline Updater which failed (and also confirmed that I have the latest DEV build of the OS). We found out later that you can't use the Offline Updater if you're on a Preview Build. Unfortunately Xbox Support believes that the Xbox now needs to be replaced because of either a corrupt OS or bad firmware. But my Xbox is just a bit out of warranty so they couldn't do anything. They suggested that I post the issue here and see if anything further can be done from a Preview-Support perspective. I'd appreciate any further suggestions or assistance!

    OSU1 not up to date.

    Guys, not to be an [Mod removed - see Guidelines], but please read the OP. I already tried updating on a different network. Using OSU1 and such. However it does not up date. the OSU1 file is from build 4050, the one it wants to update to
    is the latest 5047. My question is that if OSU1 is for offline updates in the event of this, why is it the previous build of the OS? Should it not be the latest one?

    Still frustrated.

    Latest update broken?

    Open the store app, then swipe in from the right to make the charms bar appear. Tap "Settings" then "App Updates". Once there you'll see a button that will force the store to manually check for updates.

    I can confirm that the latest update from last night did fix the issue for me on my S2.
