Network connection lost

Hi

I keep getting the"network connection lost" error on my 360 but can sign into Xbox live ok

It is only when I try to get into a game that I get the error. I have done the internet and network tests

both of which are ok. It was working yesterday ok but have had this error today.

i am having issues with my Xbox one on live.

i join a friend to play a game

some times it will join no issues but it will kick me out of the game within 5 mins of playing



i get a message of "Connection lost The host has exited the game". The host is still playing the game tHough. any way of fixing this?

Please try and
rollback your console updates and see if maybe it's an issue with your console's Firmware. This has helped out quite a few Xbox Users.

Once you follow the link above go ahead and go down to Solution 7 and follow those steps.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. I recommend Trying this step to reset your network settings back to default.

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, select Settings, and select
   System Settings.
2. Select Network Settings.
3. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network when the network list is displayed.

4. Select Configure Network.

5. On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults. When prompted, select
Yes, Restore to Factory Default

This resets the console's network settings only, and not other settings.

6.Turn off your console.

7. Turn on your console.

Wireless only: You will receive a message to configure wireless settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your wireless network.

I would also recommend
the steps on this link for further troubleshooting if the above steps do not work. Try them out and let me know the results!

 

I am haveing a somewhat similar issue i have retested my network connection turned off the verizon box and turned it bk on to reset the internet connection i try to login and it quickly just signs me out right away after just signing in also my mom is
haveing a issue with her xbox with downloads/updates when u pause all of them but one the one u dont have unpaused gets paused and one of the other ones goes to update instead like there is no controll of the updates on her xbox and lately the whole updateing
thing for the xbox one and xbox one x has been a problem with downloads/updates pushing each other down and up again for wich one is starting i feel there needs to be a way that the whole thing can be more structured maybe i can only hope that there is a way
for something like this can happen it would rlly be nice.... x.x;

 

Hello danl2050 I recommend installing one at a time I always do that due to it will switch from time to time if one drops to zero and stops it will start another.

 

yes but i am meaning when all of them are paused cause u click on all pause button... one always trys to install and its not the one u want then when u click on the one u want to install it doesn't and when u click on the one that u dont want to install
like put it bk to pause it unpauses itself again so its hard to even install u want the one to install first that u want.... @w@

 

I am having same issue and have tried all solutions with callof duty ghost. I tried rainbow six and it worked fine

 

Yea Dan I completely understand in my experience with this issue also. When you watch a download you see speeds go up and down. Sometimes when they reach Zero and stay there it will try start up a different one that is in Queue. It can be frustrating at
times.

I can get into Xbox live but as soon as I try Call of Duty Ghost I get the "network connection lost" error message

same as Bryan Hawes. I have phoned Microsoft today as wondered if the problem is my Xbox live

membership auto renewal 2 days ago, they said they would phone me back, still waiting.

Maybe the problem is with the Call of Duty Ghost game itself ?

 

I have tried mw3 and rainbow six as well as streamed a video and all worked seamlessly. The only thing not working is cod ghost

 

well i dont get it cause when u make everything paused they should all stay paused instead one always trys to install go bk to que basicly and u didn't put that one into gue but yet the one u rlly want to install u put into que in the end all the ones
u put pause on... they all automaticly reput themselfs bk to qued.... it is soo annoying i do feel bad for my moms xbox.... and the signing out issue i had earlyer stoped... on its own i guess @w@

 

Hi Just an update, it turned out to be a problem with Xbox live, when I checked

the online status yesterday there were various problems which were being worked on.

When I checked today the problems had been fixed and my Xbox Call of Duty Ghost game now works ok.

In future I will check the online status of Xbox live first rather then mess about with all the Xbox settings

and internet connection.
