    Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security



    1. Login to router by entering http://routerlogin.net in to the address bar or by entering the default gateway IP address.
    2. The router will then prompt you to enter the username and password. The default user name and password are: "admin", "password".
    3. Once logged in, select Basic from the menu on the top.
    4. From the menu on the left under the Setup section choose Wireless Settings
    5. Under Security Options select the desired security type.
    6. Select Apply.

    How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

    1. Login to router by entering
      http://routerlogin.net
      in to the address bar or by entering the default gateway IP address.
    2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password.the default user name and password are: "admin", "password".
    3. From the menu on the left under the Setup section choose Wireless Settings.
    4. The wireless passphrase can be found near the bottom of the page.

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
    3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and "password" for the password.
    4. Select "Security" from the "Access Point" section in the menu to the left.
    5. The wireless passphrase will be labeled as "Passphrase".

    1. Open a web browser.

    3. When prompted, enter "admin" for the user name and "password" for the password.
    4. Select "Security" from the "Access Point" section in the menu to the left.
    5. The only security type available for this device is WEP. To disable this security select "Open System" for the "Authentication Type" option.
    6. Select Apply.

    NAT error even when plugged directly into modem.

    So your PC works connected to the Netgear now but your Xbox cannot see your Wifi is that right? There's no real reason for that to have changed really, ensure your wireless is broadcasting and its using a unique network name (SSID) and that you security
    is set to WPA2-PSK(AES) that is the best security on that router
