    my router is set up on wpa but my Xbox 360 is only letting me do wep and I don’t want to take down my password just for my Xbox

    Replaced old model xbox with brand new one - won't connect to the wifi

    Could you visit Netgear website and make sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware. If a software update is available for this device, remember to restore the router after you've updated the firmware.

    Which security method and encryption are you using (WEP, WPA, WPA2-PSK with AES enryption)?
