Could you try and enable Fastlane.

I would say Fastlane is more preferable in your case, since the extender provide both coverage and wireless backhual.

Since your extender support dual-radios, the 2.4 Ghz radios could serve as the link between your wireless router, and the extender (Wireless Distribution System) and 5 GHz radio provide access for the clients. That is as long as your wireless router support
    dual-radios (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz).

Do you have matching SSID's on your extender, as on your wireless router?

Make sure you're running WPA2-AES (Personal/PSK), as the security method on your wireless router.

I would also recommend to use Energy-saving mode on your console. So, if Instant-on is currently enabled, switch to Energy-saving mode.

    :)

    Hi V2CX,

Thanks for your post. Wireless Extenders are great tools to extend wireless connectivity in a household to connect devices that do not require much bandwidth. Unfortunately, when it comes to the Xbox One certain protocols can not be supported by extended
thus causing issues when connecting to Xbox Live with them. A possible option to this is to implement a separate Access Point near the Xbox One for maximum wireless strength or use a wired connection. To further troubleshoot this check out:

I hope this information helps, thanks again.

    Thanks Ezra,

That is unfortunate news that some extenders don't work with xbox live. Is there a list of known extenders that don't work by chance?

Sadly my initial diagnosis seems correct - the EX6110 is junk for use with Xbox, and I cannot use your suggestion to make it an AP as it does not have that functionality.

Back to the shop to buy something else. :-(

    Cheers

If you go to Xbox network settings and run the different diagnostic tests, what is the outcome of each of these?

Have you configured your extender in any way?

Have you placed your extender according to the installation guide of this device?

    Hi Taidara,

The extender is pretty basic. Plug it into the power and turn it on essentially..

I have set a fixed IP and extended my 2.5 and 5GHz networks. Firmware is the latest also. It is not using fastlane technology or access schedules and there is not much else you can do with it.

    The xbox test are:

Internet test - everything is good - you are connected to the internet

    The center reads:

    NAT Type: Open

The following services are experiencing problems:

    <blank>

For a more complete description go to Xbox.com/status

(This is not the status message when I connect directly to the router's wireless, as that one works, so xbox knows there is an issue but doesn't tell me)

Multiplayer test - fails with 'unable to finish multiplayer tests

Multiplayer tests with triggers and bumpers depressed:

    Wireless strength 100%

    Status code: 0x008000002000064

There was a problem with some of the tests. Please try again later.

As mentioned, I have read all the 'fix its ' and this extender just doesn't work with xbox multiplayer.

    Cheers
