    Netflix won’t install / Installations not working


    Hi!

    So Netflix was refusing to open for a while on my Xbox one S. The error code it gave me was nowhere to be found on Xbox / Microsoft / google so I decided to just uninstall the app and try to re-install it.

    For some reason, the app will start to install (while making no actual progress) and stop installing after about 20 seconds to a minute. Whenever I try to install or click resume installation it does the same thing over again. This has been going on for a week. I’ve triple checked to make sure my internet is okay and the connection is fine.

    Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

    If you are using an external storage device, please unplug it and power cycle the console, then try to install again without connecting external storage.

    Tried a full factory reset. Still no dice. Weirdly the console update is fine and installing apps is fine. It’s just game installs and updates that won’t work at all.

    Hi Kim, Yes this is the only game and I have no pending updates and the power shell command didn’t work either, I press install in the app and it redirects me to Ubisoft connect installation, after it’s installed the game is stuck on preparing, it won’t install.

    Yes I installed other apps and they worked perfectly. It’s only Netflix
