I'm using a wired connection for both the X1 and the HTPC.

I just had some time to compare my X1 video quality with Netflix to my Windows 8PC which are set up on the same amp and plasma. Anyways the Windows 8 App blows away the X1. Then when I looked into it I found that Netflix offers a better stream called Super
HD to quite a lot of devices just not Xbox 360 or Xbox 1.

I was able to stop the video from stopping all the time by changing my WIFI Channels but still its simply not as good as through my WIndows 8 PC. I only paid $400 for the whole PC brand new and its almost 2 years old.

Just got done watching never back down on netflix and the quality was great....i hate how there is no icon telling you if its in true HD or not but i can tell using my eyes that its in HD for sure! I use VUDU also and they have HDX which is pretty much 1080p
quality for all movies and shows.

I agree that the quality is great from comparing years ago. However it is still better on windows 8 app. Its awful that super hd is avail on roku 2, ps3 & ps4, and even wiiu. I have only compared the windows 8 app but it is alot more crisp.

I'm on like a 6mbps connection, and my streaming is A1. Maybe try a router power cycle refresh and a full XB1 power cycle refresh and see if it helps.

Playback quality depends on which package you have. Unfortunately Netflix charge more now if you want HD, and even more if you want ultra HD. Could be that you only pay the standard monthly fee?

It's such a ripoff. HD should be the norm. Not standard definition.

13 mbps and Netflix runs great full HD. It starts out slow then it buffers and it's all good.

    Netflix video quality on X1

I have had a problem with the frame rate stuttering on Netflix rather than the actual picture quality. I am a user in the uk so I have the 50 hz option enabled in the picture settings but I find I have to switch that off to make Netflix watchable again.

Another old thread resurrected for no reason.

Anyway my Netflix runs fine and I've got 4-5MB.

  15. I don't have any issues either. Seem like they fixed whatever issues existed at XO launch.
