    Everytime I go into Netflix I have to manually turn off CC.

    fix your subtitles.. system and netflix..

    so recently or with updates i have seen subtitles get turned on on allot of systems..

    for general subtitles go to my apps, settings, bottom has a thing with CC in it.. click on that and it allows you to turn off subtitles or close captioning in the system...

    on netflix its a little different..

    you have to be int he app start playing the video/tv show hit the a button and bring up the part that allows you to pause play fastforward... at the very end it looks like a small magazine click on that and it allowsyou to turn off close cationing in the netflix app..

    Well I cancelled Netflix because of this. Tried all the fixes and nothing worked.

    What subtitle does work on the XBox

    I know that a DVD subtitles will work (As long as it has subtitles encoded in it.) You enable them at the main menu of the dvd or the movie option bar in movie...

    Most of the movies and Tv showson netflix have subtitles that you have to enable when you start that show.

    Xfinity has them too in the app settings (I think their subtitle system is dumb though)

    Some Youtube videos have the CC options

    I'm have the same issues. Except when I turn them off on the setting, they actually get bigger and are yellow. Its at the point where I just quit using it.

    And factory resetting my console did absolutely nothing to help.
