    I just got my Xbox One July 30, 2014 and installed the Netflix app. I can sign in and use it no problem, but every time I watch an episode from a series it
    auto plays to the next episode giving me a 20 sec countdown.
    I have already turned off auto play or "post play" as Netflix calls it under my Account Settings / Playback Settings on netflix.com. This feature works fine on other devices like a Samsung Smart TV, PS3, iPhone, and iPad. The issue is only present on
    the Xbox One.

    I chatted with Netflix support for about an hour and they had me try things but nothing has worked. As of now when I play an episode it auto plays to the next episode.

    Really annoying. And I am not a fan of the Xbox One Netflix app. It's different from the PS3 and Samsung Smart TV, and not in a good way.

    Right now I am waiting for Netflix tech support to get back to me about the issue.

    Anyone else experience this issue?

    Sleep Functionality?

    I recently decided to move my Xbox up to my bedroom, and, since I have my console on an auto-off feature, I want to watch TV shows on Netflix on my Xbox as I'm going to sleep. Problem is, I don't want my Xbox running all night pumping video to a powered
    down screen. So my question is, since this app is problematic and apparently has no custom settings or menu options whatsoever, is there some way to STOP the constant Auto-Playing of episodes so that my console will automatically power down

    Sorry to hear about your troubles of this unexpected experience.

    Have you tried re-installing the Netflix App? Perhaps something might have gone wrong. You try rechecking the Netflix settings again.

    While I don't have this problem, I would appreciate it if mine didn't autoplay BEFORE the video starts either. If I just want to check a description or see who's in a show or movie I do NOT want the video to play until I hit the A button.

    Have you tried re-installing the Netflix App? Perhaps something might have gone wrong. You try rechecking the Netflix settings again.

    Some small complaints and helpful suggestions. :)

    My biggest thing is why the app doesn't just auto play the next episode.

    One main reason I enjoy Netflix on the other console.

    NetFlix Update Issues

    The update took place on 8/12/2016. I also have an Xbox One and it does not have this problem. I went back today uninstalled ALL references to Netflix and deleted the System Cache, shut the unit down and rebooted and re-installed Netflix and no change. Auto
    Play is turned off in my profile. When an episode reaches the end, there is a window in the upper left corner that plays the credits. In the main window, the next episode is displayed.

    If I click to advance to the next episode the system locks up at 1% loading the next episode at which time I can eject the dvd tray which kicks me out of Netflix then I can sign in again and go to the next episode or I can wait for all credits to finish
    and then click the next episode displayed in the main window or I can click back then select episodes and then select the next episode. If Auto Play is left on, the system locks up at 1% on the next episode. Both units I am working with were updated on the
    same date on 8/12/2016. I have not gone back to the 3rd unit again. If i can't get it on two units, most likely it won't work on the 3rd unit. LOL...

    By the way, thank you for all that you are doing.

    I really think this is going to take a new update from Netflix to resolve this especially since it is a known issue to them.

    I really wished they'd stop the auto play when I select a show or movie. A lot of times the episode that starts up is NOT the one I want to watch, so I have to stop that one, and then start on another. Also as a result of that it showed spoilers from the
    actual episode I wanted to watch, which ruined the entire show for me.

    I also miss netflix party feature. That was so much fun with friends. Wish they'd bring that back. I also agree that the expanding thumbnail is dumb and not sure why it was implemented.
