Netflix and prime video no longer launch after update this week 4th oct 2023

Are you part of Xbox Insider? We notice there is an update exclusive for Alpha ring on 4th of October and you may be part of them - Xbox Insider Release Notes - Alpha (2310.231001-2200) - Xbox Wire. If yes, please send report to the Team Xbox for resolution of this and see if there is a new update for the apps too. You may check new update fot the console again because Xbox Insider Release Notes - Alpha (2310.231004-2200) - Xbox Wire was released on 6th of October. Or send your report to Team Xbox using Report a problem tool of the console.



Otherwise, please let us if you have updated both Netflix and prime video apps. Also, what is your current OS version:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info. Your OS version is shown in the second column.

Seems to be the majority of video apps.

Netflix, prime, youtube, bluray

I too have been having this issue but is only when watching Prime Video. All other streaming videos, youtube, twitch, netflix work just fine but the controller keeps timing out on Prime. It didnt used to do this so I assume it has something to do with
an Amazon Prime Video app update that happened within the last month or so. The controller shouldnt be timing out with the headphones attached and video playing. If the video is paused for too long it would time out, but only then.
