Netflix and all other apps stopped playing

I was watching Netflix and the xbox shut off and I rebooted it and now every time I try to use an app--Hulu, Netflix, you tube I get the same error

"The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again."

Any advice? I tried downloading Netflix again but still had same error

Continuous "LOADING" When Running Xbox Live Videos.

This happens to me with the ESPN app on my 360. I stopped trying to use it because it kept buffering...netflix and other apps work great though...

 

Official Xbox One Remote Netflix issues

I've been using the Official XBone Remote with Netflix without issue until lately where the Play/Pause seem to have stopped functioning properly with Netflix. All other apps still work ok with the button but Netflix only seems to pause, and not resume playing.
I can get around this by using the centre button between the arrows at the top but I'd like the remote to function as it was intended! I've reset my xbox, uninstalled the app, deleted data, signed in again etc and am at my wits end on how to solve a trivial
but frustrating issue. Any solutions out there I haven't tried?

 

Please turn off the console and unplug it for 30 seconds and see if that makes it work.

If not, please check for an update in Settings > System > Console Info & Updates >

And if that still doesn't work, please redownload your profile:

And finally, a reformat of your console keeping games and apps: Settings > System > Console Info & Updates > Reset console > "keep games and apps".

 

Do a Power Cicle on your Xbox, press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and wait 2 minutes then turn Xbox on again, see If It works

 

If this doesn't work so change the region of your Xbox to another region which has the same language as yours, update the app from the new region and see If the update works.

 

This is an xbox 360. I don't have the settings that you refer to.

 

I got it to work. I had to delete all the apps and re-download each one. Thanks everyone for the help!
