    try running a detailed network statistic in your network settings. See if you are experiencing any latency, packet loss or slow connection speeds. Here is a link to get you started with the test:

    Network Test

    Long story short, if your connection is spotty, you will still be able to get onto the network and play around with the console. But, you may not have enough of a connection to play online games like CoD. Make sure you are on a wired connection if possible.
    If not, disconnect any other wireless devices to see if the bandwidth increases for you. There are a TON of things to try. I'll link some below:

    DNS Errors

    Port Issues

    Slow Multiplayer Connection

    Unavailable NAT fix

    List of Ports to make sure are open for Optimum CoD gaming online

    ^ I'm not sure about the humanity thing, it works apparently but personally I've had comments for over 2 months with 0 votes.

    As for the DLC it has a PvP arena which is fun, but the rest should be included with the patch though. Just look at the DLC as an extra few hours of the game, but for every single playthrough you'll do. Also there are some cool items / bosses there.
