Need Xbox one PSU for Kosovo

I’m going to kosovo in June and I want to take my xbox one with me and the question is to where I can purchase a 220V PSU??

XBox One PSU 220V

Hi,

I live in Jordan and I bought an Xbox One recently. The console was not officially released in Jordan and they were only selling American consoles and the PSU only supports 110V. The guy I bought it from offered me a Chinese PSU for free with my console and it is working fine. My main issue however is the sound it makes as I have the console in my bedroom and I cannot sleep if I have the console's power option set to Instant-On.

I have been looking all over the place (online and offline ) to see if I can buy a 220V PSU for my Xbox One and I found a seller on Amazon UK claiming to be selling an original PSU but that will cost me about 77 GBP ~ $120.

Another option I found is that I can use an X360 PSU to power the Xbox One but I am kinda skeptical about this solution.

So my question is, how can I power my Xbox One silently. I need to run the console at night when I am sleeping to download games and stuff but I cannot do it because of the sound the PSU is making. Why isn't MS selling the PSU on their store?

Would the 360 PSU work? Or can I use a power converter and use the original PSU that came with my XBox?

I'm buying an Xbox One S from America but the PSU will be different to the one in Ireland. Will the PSU in my Xbox 360 work or where can I buy a new PSU for the Xbox one s?

That is going to be a tough one. It's set up so the only power supply you can buy is for the region you're in. So here in the states they only sell the 110-120 volt power supplies. In UK they have 220 but the plug design is going to be for their stuff. So
you may have to wait until you get over to Europe to be able to get a 220 volt power supply.

I would not suggest the little travel power inverter. Those convert the voltage but the electricity is not a pure sine wave form and they are more for small appliances.

I know this is not the ideal solution it might be worth researching and upgrading to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One X as I believe the internal power supply's on both these consoles are multi voltage (I know they are on my UK Xbox One S and X).

What is the voltage rating on the PSU, if its 100 - 110v then you have probably blew the PSU, thats why it will be blowing your mains house fuse. A plug adapter is not the only thing you would need for a PSU with those voltage ratings, you would also have
needed a step down transformer to convert 240v UK to 110v US.

You're asking if you can substitute a 360 PSU for an Xbox One PSU? No.

You're sending in your PSU? Why? Exchange the system with your retailer. The Xbox One is less than 30 days old.

I don't know anyone else with an xbox one, but if anyone does, it might be worth trying the 'noisy' PSU on another xbox one to see if it's a console or PSU issue? I still think it's a PSU one, though we can never tell.
