Need to unlink my xbox account with EA Account(Not mine)

Yes, I get the error message, "account already linked."

In order for me to unlink my account, I need to verify the other EA account that my Xbox is linked to, but that account is not mine so I cannot do that

These account linking issues are always odd to work with. I can tell you that it will fall on EA to help with these especially if you don't have access or can't get into your EA account. That is because this is primarily where the link is established.

I can give you a resource however that might help. You can visit our Account Consent page here and see if disabling the link will remove it access capability. Just be aware as this might not work as the links are primarily hosted on the developer account sides.

If you recognize the email, I will try to get back into that email and do a security reset with that EA account and then remove the link. If you can't get access to the email, you will have to work with EA support to help you out. Be advised, after searching online, it looks like this can be done but there is a series risk of losing your data (saved game info and such), so keep that in mind.

If your account is linked to an EA account that you do not have access to, you will need to talk to EA to unlink the account. No linking or unlinking process is done on the Xbox side.

Is this the only way? I got off the phone with EA. They told me that the can't unlink it. We need to know and have access to the email linked to our xbox account to unlink it. I'm not banned. Mine was just deleted and they cant even tell me the email account associated with it.

You need to contact EA support to help you unlink your xbox account from EA account.

However keep in mind that if you unlink an Xbox gamertag from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Xbox gamertag to it in the future.
