    Need to restore defaults for controllers...


    My kid messed with the settings of his controller. We're trying to restore it back to the original defaults. I've looked at many walkthroughs. They ALL say there is a "restore default" option in the menu in the app, but I can't find it anywhere. Help?

    Login Information

    • Default Gateway - 192.168.0.1
    • Username - user
    • Password - user

    Older Firmware

    Through firmware

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
    3. Select login from the side menu.
    4. Enter the username and password. (user/user)
    5. Select Tools from the menu at the top.
    6. Select Yes for both Restore Defaults and Reset The System.
    7. Select Apply.
    Through Hardware

    1. Locate the reset button on the back of the device (it is labeled "Reset").
    2. Hold the reset button for 30 seconds.

    The firmware walkthrough for restoring factory defaults only removes user changes to the firewall settings and parental control settings. It is advised you do so via the hardware method.

    Select your controller in the app and choose Configure.

    Select Restore defaults. This will return your controller to its original factory configuration.

    Please try to restore your controller back to its default settings then try to configure it again by removing the vibration.

    Select your controller in the app and choose Configure. Choose a profile, and then select Edit > Restore to default. This returns your controller to its original factory configuration.

    Ok, ours next steps is restoring settings to factory defaults, on gateway and on Xbox One. To find how to restore settings to factory default on Your gateway You need to consult with gateway manual.

    For Xbox One do this steps:

    1. Press Menu button on Your controller

    2. Select Settings

    3. Select Network Settings

    4. Select Advanced Network Settings

    5. Select Alternative MAC Address

    6. Clear

    By doing this steps we restoring all settings to factory defaults, network settings, so all misconfiguration errors would be cleared.
