Need to reset console, has Insider OS installed.

There will never be a OSU1 file available to consoles enrolled in any Xbox Insider previews. The console has to be unenrolled from the preview before attempting an Offline System Update (OSU).

Normally, when the console is unenrolled the latest General Availability (GA) OS will be installed via the internet so a OSU is not required if your network connection is stable.

If you have unsuccessfully attempted to use a OSU1 file without unenrolling from Insiders, you need to factory reset the console.

The factory reset will install a base OS and if you have a stable network connection the console will download and install the latest OS available.

This is not true. There have been several ASA Insider updates since March 2023. There was one yesterday 20th April 2023. I suggest you visit the Xbox Insiders Reddit site regularly and /or check the Insider app everyday if you want to stay in the ASA Insider preview.

The console needs to be unenrolled from any preview before attempting a OSU.

When the console is unenrolled the General Availability OS is installed.

If it fails to install the GA OS it will need a Factory reset.

If a Factory reset fails, the console needs to be repaired.

No why would there be

Only pc and consoles have insiders programs because they are ms oses

Windows insiders and xbox insiders

You can search insiders hub on the xbox store

You need to have it installed on a PC or a xbox because that's how you register your console

Having the app on pc also lets you register and unregister for xbox since settings has its own insiders settings

The insider program can bring bugs but of course sometimes it can break the console testing different os's there is of course ways to do offline updates to stop os installation problems.

Insiders CANNOT use offline system updates (OSU) unless they unenroll from the preview they are in. Unenrolling generally means a factory reset is required to restore the console OS to General Availability release.
