    Need to reactivate retail boxed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 that was installed on a PC...


    I have the boxed DVD set of Microsoft Flight Simulator (MS FS) bought from a retailer that was installed on a Windows 10 computer that died two weeks ago. I had no opportunity to uninstall MS FS. I now have a new PC running Windows 11 so I installed the program from the DVDs and naievly entered the code supplied with the boxed set. The 'This has already been redeemed' came up so I searched for a way to reactivate the game. One suggestion led to to go to the MS Store, select in sequence the Library, Apps and Update then Updated all. When I scrolled through the list that resulted, MS FS was not listed even though it is installed on the new computer.What can I do from here? It appears my installation has to be ackonwledged by the MS Store for my code to be reactivated.Regards Frank

    Thanks very much for that, Kathy and I will follow your links.

    But before I do, I will add to my earlier post that while I can't see MS Flight Sim in the Microsoft store, it certainly appears in my Microsoft account under items that I have purchased. Appparently, once listed inside my MS account, it should appear in the MS Store, but that link appears to have failed.

    Now off to follow your suggestions.
