Need to help my child set up multi player on iPad

I’m trying to allow my child to access multiplayer on Minecraft on her iPad.

It’s saying because of how her account is set up she is unable to do so.

What do I need to do and where do I need to do it to allow for her access to this?

Do I go to my Xbox app? Or Microsoft account?

I’ve tried looking on these settings but can’t access anything to help

Thank you for your reply.

I’ve checked all what you’ve suggested but it’s still saying the same thing.

We’ve reinstalled the app but it’s very slow for some reason.

Please can you sign into your account on the Xbox Settings page here: Xbox Settings - Privacy & Online Safety | Xbox

When you sign into your account, you should see your daughter's account. If you click onto her account, you can adjust her privacy and online safety settings from there.

You will want to allow cross play and multiplayer on her account.

You will need to select Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety.

You will see an option on there for multiplayer gaming. Please see the screenshot underneath for reference on where this setting is.

I'm trying to log on via my desktop PC. I set up an account for my child to use on the iPad and it works fine there, but I can't log on and access Minecraft with my child's account on my desktop PC.
