Need to get a physical disc.

I bought an Xbox 360 bundle recently, and it came with a game code for Forza Horizon 2. The only problem is that I don't have internet at home, and I can't very well bring my Xbox 360 to my local library to download it. Can anyone tell me how to trade in
my code for an actual disc of the game? Would really love to play it.

If this was a code from a physical disc, you would need to contact the retailer you purchased the disc from for an exchange.

Download game from Xbox Store if you bought it on disc?

In order to get a digital copy, you would still need to purchase it from the marketplace. There's no way to download it for free if you purchased a physical disc.

I believe that the only way to convert this is to buy a Digital Licence from the Xbox Store, either online or in-store.

If you have a physical disc, it will install from the disc. There is no need for a code.

Hi there BenClouthier!

Only digital purchases are tied to a Microsoft account. Physical copies of discs cannot be "tied" to an account. You will either need to get those physical discs back if those games ever become available to backwards compatibility, or you would need to purchase
the digital licenses for those games. You are unable to swap physical games for digital titles and vice versa.

When you play a game installed from a physical disc you need to have the disc inserted to start the game. So for digital, you can insert the disc so would need a digital license. At the moment it is not possible to transfer physical to digital licenses.
