To cancel your previous subscription associated with your work account, you need to sign in to your Microsoft 365 account admin center page. Check permissions: Make sure you have the administrator permissions required to purchase a license. Only IT administrators or users with the appropriate permissions can make purchases in the Admin Center.

Search for Minecraft Education: Search for “Minecraft Education” using the search bar in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This can sometimes help locate the specific section where the license is purchased

I understand that the subscription for Minecraft educational did not fit your needs and you want to cancel and refund the purchase.

First, you'll need to cancel the active subscription. How did you purchase your subscription (e.g. Microsoft Store for Education, Camps and Clubs Program)?

Oh, no worries, the Xbox account, and Microsoft account are one and the same.

Minecraft accounts are also migrated/linked to Microsoft accounts.

In order to check your purchases made in your Minecraft account, you can sign in using the same email address as your Minecraft account on account.microsoft.com from there you should be able to see the "Services and Subscription" tab to check if the subscription for Minecraft Education is active.

As for the purchases, you can also check all of your Minecraft purchases on account.microsoft.com > Payment and billing > order history.

If the subscription and purchase can't be found, it is possible that it was made on a different Microsoft account.
