Need Roblox Purchase Receipt

Hello,

Several years ago I purchased Roblox for my son on our Xbox One console. In order to play Roblox you have to set up your own personal gamer tag account. That is how each player has a name displayed with them while they play. When you log into roblox you
have to go thru your own gamer account in order to access your robux and your progress. Roblox does not require an email address or phone number to set up the gamer tag account thru their platform. So, my son set up his account without that information. Players
may remain logged in to their gamer tag until you choose to log out. If you log out, and can't recall your password, the only retrieval options are thru email or phone number. But if phone & email were not provided when setting up the gamer tag, you cannot
retrieve the password. Roblox will not accept your Microsoft or Xbox Live email or phone number for this purpose, either.

We have spent a significant amount of money on Robux for the account, and my son has spent a lot of time on progress. We no longer have access to the robux we purchased, until he can log in again. Roblox Tech Support demands an original game purchase receipt
in order to assist us. However, as this was a free game there was never a purchase receipt given to me. I have explained this to Roblox Support, but they just keep insisting on a receipt that never existed. They will not accept a screenshot of the Roblox game
in my Xbox Live account as proof of purchase. Nor will they accept any of the receipts for Robux we purchased for this game. Can you please help me to obtain an original purchase receipt, or help persuade Roblox Support to accept some other proof of ownership?

Hi, thanks for your help. Actually that was the first place I looked. I do not have a receipt for Roblox because it was a free game. I purchased it twice, because we have two xbox live accounts, and neither time was a receipt generated. I have a receipt
for all purchases except the "free purchases." Those do not generate receipts.

I have noticed that several people have run into this same problem. Either Roblox or Microsoft really need to fix this. Many thanks for listening. I understand that you do not work for Microsoft, and you are just trying to help.

If you brought Robux via the Microsoft Store you can access the receipt here https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/?period=AllTime&type=All

When you find the Robux just click order details for the receipt.

Thanks for trying to help I don’t know if it’s a hundred percent clear what I said. But at the time of making my Roblox account my dad didn’t put an email so I can’t use the account on my other devices beside the Xbox so I can’t sign into my account I contacted customer support and they said I need proof of owning the account and asked for a Roblox purchase receipt here is what they said “Please reply to this message with a copy of your Roblox, Xbox purchase receipt. You may send us your emailed receipt or a screenshot of your Roblox, Xbox purchase receipt.” the thing is I don’t know what the purchase receipt is because you don’t buy the game because it is free.

That free download would constitute a purchase receipt. That should be good enough for them, as Roblox is a free game, but they have in game purchases for coins. If you can find purchases for coins, that should also cover you with what you need with Roblox
support.

i could not find any email for the roblox game but we did verify a email with the game but they still want the purchase receipt which was a free download
