Need my captured

I'm sorry that you can't find your screenshots in the Xbox app on your phone, with the intention of helping you I'm going to suggest some steps:

1. Make sure your Xbox app is updated to the latest version available.
2. Restart your phone and reopen the Xbox app.
3. Verify that you are using the same Xbox account on your console and in the phone app.
4. Check the privacy settings in your Xbox account to make sure screenshots are enabled to be viewed in the app.
5. If screenshots still don't appear, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app on your phone.

@eggnogga @silkyjj thats actually what i originally wanted to do. How does a capture card work ? would i need to buy anything else? will i need to hook my X1 to my PC?

With a capture card will i be able to stream live to twitch? if so i would buy a capture card today ! please give me more details on how this works.. instructions. & what capture card you recommend

It's not related to the update.

The Xbox console has only a limited amount of reserved space for captures, so if that limit is reached, new captures will "push out" older captures.

If you wish to keep certain captures permanently, you need to use Upload Studio to upload your captures to OneDrive for example.

Then why is it that when i went to look at the recent captures that ive made over the last few days, the only captures i have were from over a year ago?? Where are all of my recent captures? Even the captures i had posted to my activity feed are gone

You need to use the Xbox Companion App or the Xbox App (mobile) to access your captures.

Optionally you can use the Windows + G shortcut > Capture > See all my captures.

You can find any captures done locally on that PC that are not sync to the Xbox Network.

Also I forgot to mention if you want to use a streaming Application you will need an capture card. And it will need to be a high definition card. Best bet HD PVR hauppauge or my personal choice an ElGato Hd Capture Card.
