Need Help - Xbox One X turns on but does not display...

Hi there,

So I recently bought an Xbox One X in order to play some games I recently got. However, as of yesterday I began to experience some issues where in spite of turning on my console (white light comes up on the console as per usual and it boots up like normal),
it does not display at all on my TV. Up until this point I had not had any problems. Right now though it's preventing me from doing anything at all. I have followed the advice and tips on the Xbox website about doing a cold reset or holding the disk eject
and controller sync buttons at the same time in order to access the troubleshoot mode but these do not work, it still will not display at all. I have also swapped HDMI cables and tried it on a different TV but I still get the same result. What can I do about
this?

HDMI won't work with my monitor?

Go into settings/system/display

Turn off display discovery

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention here on the forums lets try and get you back to gaming. I understand that you are having trouble where now your TV is registering as "No Signal" even though the console appears to be on. Please take a look
at this support article and try some of the listed steps to hopefully get this working.

Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox One is on. Perhaps try it on a different TV also.

I have done all of those steps listed on there including switching the HDMI cable and trying on a different TV, I still get a blank screen. I still can't even access the Xbox Troubleshoot mode either. Please advise...

further assistance or visit the Device service and Repair
site.

Does it help or make it better if i buy an apdaotor and plug the display port into the xbox one x

Hey there!

Sorry to hear you are running into these issues with the Xbox One console. When you power on the console, does the light turn on and stay on with no display, turn on and then turn back off, or does the light not turn on at all?
