Need help with Xbox One TV/One guide! Preferably people with Time Warner but anyone works!

Ok so today (June 27) we converted over from Dish Network to Time Warner Cable. Box works fine as of now, but not so well with my Xbox One. I used to have my dish box connected to the back of my Xbox with no problems, the channels were in sync (meaning
if I was on USA on 105 on my xbox and if I swapped to my box only input it would be on the same thing) but with this new box it's not the same way even though it's setup the same way. With the dish box I had the HDMI cable running from the box to my xbox,
and it had 2 sets of red, white and yellows plugs and they were plugged into the box itself and into the back of the TV (not sure if that may be the problem or what, not sure). My problem is is when I'm on my Xbox One and I say go to SYFY, it goes to channel
700 something and according to my Xbox it is on SYFY, but when I go to watch it or whatever it says not available. I do have SYFY and a whole bunch of other channels and I'm not sure why it does that. I reset all of my TV settings and still the same thing.
Also I can use the new Time Warner remote on my Xbox and I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to do that because it never did that with Dish. I have one set of the red white and yellows in the back of the new box and running into the back of the TV and a new
input source is available and the Time Warner show I have running on that can be seen on my Xbox. Just really confused as to why it's doing this!

XBOX One is INCOMPATIBLE with TIME WARNER CABLE!?

Has anyone gotten the xbox one to work with the time warner scientific atlanta 4240hdc?

 

XB1 doesn't play nice with my cable box (Samsung SMTH3270)

Same issue here with time Warner samsung smth-3272 STB, Random freezes and channel guide will not work, tried all the suggested workarounds "fix" and same issue still exist.... Completely unusable with the xbox one..... Back on its own hdmi port on TV
works fine. Back to xbox issues are back and remote to stb does not work at all.

 

The cable box may not be set up to dual output the channels. Try running just an hdmi cable from the Xbox to the back of the TV. I have directv and it used to do the same thing. Hopefully this helps. Of you have any questions. I am more than happy to try

I have the same problem with the Xbox One Guide not matching what is on TV. Microsoft after hours of troubleshooting, told me to contact Time Warner. Not sure this is going to be fixed anytime soon.
