Need help with xbox app gamer picture

You can change your custom image through a console or a PC if the Xbox mobile app gives you problems, if you are an Android user, you can download the "Xbox beta" app and test if the same thing happens there.

To do it on a PC, you must open the "Xbox Console Companion" app, select your profile > Customize > Customize your avatar > Choose a custom picture.

I understand you need help in changing your gamer picture from your PC.

You can actually do this using the Xbox companion app, if you do not have the app yet on your PC, please download this app from the Microsoft store.

Once you open the app, sign in to your account.

Once signed in, Click on your current profile image on the left side of the app.

Click Customize on the next page.

Click on the big circle where the picture should set to customize your gamer picture.

Then click on choose a custom picture. You should be able to select the image you want to add to your gamer picture.

There are times that it does happen to take longer than usual but it really depends on the picture you have uploaded if it needs to be investigated or not.

Try to change the size of your gamer picture then save it. After that, try uploading again. Or try using a different gamer picture to check the difference of the upload time.

You can also do this on the Xbox or on the Xbox app.

Since custom gamer pictures were not working recently, most users will need to uninstall the application and reinstall Xbox App on your PC.

Actually, you have the option to update your gamer picture even on your PC.

Just make sure you have the Xbox companion app on your PC then open it.

Once opened, click on your profile from the top left of the screen >> Click customize >> Then click on your current picture, you should be able to choose a picture from your PC from there to upload and update your current gamer picture.
