NEED HELP WITH XBOX 1 SHUTDOWN ISSUE

The way I have always shut off my xbox 1 when I get off is by holding the middle xbox button and choosing turn console off. The past few weeks whenever I choose this option, and even simply pressing the turn on/off button on the xbox itself, the xbox completely
shuts down as if I was doing a "hard restart" (holding the button on the xbox for 10 seconds or so).

So, because of this, my xbox 1 does not do any updates to any of my games I have during the night because no matter how I turn off my xbox, it completely shuts down. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have not changed any xbox settings lately for this to
occur. It just randomly started happening.

xbox one freze and shutdown

Hi everybody,

I am happy to bought a xbox one s console since 1 month but i am a liitle problem with this device.

when i am playing with any game, after 1 hour or two , xbox freeze and shutdown. not reboot but shutdown

after restart i don' t saw message about warm alert.

I changed many times the electric plug but issue persist.

I disconnect electric plug 10 seconds and connect without good result.

I don't know what i am doing to resolve it .

does someone has already had this issue ??

Xbox 1 start up and shutdown issue

My xbox is set to instant on but every time i turn it off and try to turn it back on again I need to reboot it as it just freezes either on the home screen or on a black screen with the xbox symbol in the center also more recently it just doesnt turn off
anymore unless i do a reboot on the console or just turn off the plugs. Is there anyway I can get it to stop doing these things

I Have an Xbox 360 and it is well not working i just turn it on and in 1 min or 2 it shutdown's by itself i need help

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. Sorry to hear that your new console is acting a bit odd. Its possible that something may have happened when you updated the console initially. You may wish to try a soft factory reset to the console so that
the update will download again. Just choose the option that allows you to reset and keep your games and apps.

Press the Xbox button
to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info.
Select Reset console.
Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Alternatively, if the console continues to give you problems, since you just purchased it, you can always return it to the point of sale and trade it out for a different one.

Hi! Sorry to hear about your issue. We can try a system cycle. To do this have your xbox one on. Now hold down the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts off completely. Now you want to unplug every cord from the back of the console and wait 2 mins.
After the 2 mins plug everything back making sure everything is plugged in securely. Now let it reboot. I hope this helps!

Do the Xbox shutdown after playing an hour or only disconnect? If shutdown you need go to Settings to change that.
