Need help with Halo Infinite

Hello. I have AMD Ryzen 9 5900 HS Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU GDDR6 @ 6GB and 16GB RAM. Even with this powerful spec, I am unable to play Halo Infinite in proper fps. When I go to GeForce application, the application says that my system does not meet the minimum requirements for the game to play, but as you know my specs are perfect for this game. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Hi,

This issue is usually caused by Windows setting your laptop's integrated 'Radeon' graphics hardware as the GPU instead of your dedicated RTX 3060.

Try this:

Open the NVIDIA control panel.

The easiest way to this is by right-clicking on an empty space on the desktop and selecting NVIDIA control panel. If you're on Windows 11, you'll need to click Show more options to get the NVIDIA control Panel icon to show.

2. Navigate to 3D settings > Manage 3D settings.

3. Open the Program settings tab and select your game from the dropdown menu. If you can't find the game in the list, click 'Add' and find it in this other list. You may need to change the sort to A to Z (see below)

4. Select Preferred graphics processor for this program from the second dropdown menu. Your NVIDIA GPU should appear as "High-performance NVIDIA processor"

5. Click Apply to save your changes.

Updates are often seen as optional.

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.
