Need help with fo4 save override

I was asked to chose between an older and newer cloud sync. I chose the newer one and lost alot of saves on fo4 what can I do to get them back

Failed data synchronization, Again

Fallout 4 is a bit of a nightmare with regards to this. Even with my 200Mbps connection, it took over an hour to sync my saves when I bought a new Elite console.

I think the maximum space for game saves on FO4 is around 2GB, and I know I was pretty much there because I kept getting "need to delete some saves" messages when trying to save my games.

What is your internet speed? and does your ISP have any kind of fair use policy? If your capped to something like 250MB an hour and then they reduce your speed, like my previous ISP was, that could be what's causing issues. Also, are you connected to your
router via Ethernet or WiFi? Because that could also be causing issues with connectivity. You only need a small drop in connection for the sync of save games to fail, I've noticed anyway. I don't think that MS planned for games to have such huge save files.
Although the individual saves are relatively small in FO4, the auto save soon stacks them up.

 

Fallout 4 Saves

So I go on FO4 today, load up a save, play on it for a bit, go to the store, come back, and half of my saves are gone. I was at lvl 44, now i'm lvl 35 again, I looked at bethsoft's faq, and the advice isn't working. I just lost 2 hours of progress. Help?
