    I'm really sorry, in order for the gift code to work, the sender and the receiver of the gift code should be in the same region. You will get an error when you try redeeming a gift code from a different region.

    The best option that I can recommend here is for the sender to request a refund using this link, https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/request-a-....
