Need help with cloud file retrieval!!!

I'm in a big spot of bother I recently rest my console to factory settings try and fix a problem I had and have reinstalled my games but the cloud wont let me get my saved game info back..

The biggest problem now is I've got it to work but I played forza6 offline to try and play my saved game from my external HD. Now the problem is that it restarted me from the beginning of the game and has now rest my cloud save as well which rest me back
to the start and I've lost everything and I was wondering if its possible to get older saved files from the cloud so I can get all my info back other wise I have just wasted 1000+ hours playing the game for nothing and lost 400+ cars and million of credits.

please help asap it driving me insane that i have lost everything.

Offline Game Saves Now Hidden Behind the Gold Paywall?

It truly is heinous, but it's not MS doing it. Sony does this.
MS does not. Isturbo, it was rather something you didn't do to access offline saves or perhaps xbox live was having an issue.

So...do I really need to set up my 360 to get backwards comp games?!

The only thing you need the 360 for is to transfer save files to the cloud.

Unfortunately it's not possible to retrieve lost data, once it has been overwritten on the cloud, the old data is completely lost.

You can retrieve your Xbox cloud saves by following these steps:

Make sure you're signed in to the same Xbox Live profile you used to save the game.

Launch the game you want to retrieve your cloud saves for.

Once you're in the game, select "Load Game" or a similar option that lets you access your saved games.

Look for an option that says "Cloud Saves," "Cloud Storage," or something similar. This will usually be indicated by a cloud icon.

Select the cloud storage option and choose the save file you want to retrieve. If you have multiple save files, make sure you select the correct one.

Once you've selected the save file, the game should automatically download it from the cloud and you should be able to resume playing from where you left off.

If you're having trouble retrieving your cloud saves, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

Make sure you're connected to the internet and your Xbox Live account is signed in.

Check your storage space to make sure you have enough room to download the save file.

Try signing out of your Xbox Live account and signing back in again.

I understand. Try what I suggested before to download save files for the game from the cloud. If it was previously saved, then it will be retrieved.

Unfortunately unless you had the files backed up on another flash drive or the cloud, there is no way to recover the files for use on the Xbox. Use of outside software or another company to retrieve the files would violate the terms of service and as such
cannot be discussed on the forums.
