    Need help with a Xbox Accessories Application Issue


    I am current running the Xbox one update preview alpha-Skip ahead. Version: rs_xbox_release_2004.191216-0000 on a Xbox one x console. Currently my issue is when going to the settings menu on my Xbox one x console then selecting devices, controllers, and then accessories, the application fails to open completely. after a few seconds of the green loading screen with the Xbox accessories application joystick logo in the middle. The app suddenly closes and I get sent back to the Xbox home screen. I’ve troubleshooted and rebooted the Xbox. I need some ideas on how to resolve this issue. Should I go back to an delta or beta preview? I have no control of my Xbox one elite controller and the current profiles or settings. I’ve reported the problem several times through the insider application as well. I’m just looking for a solution or temporary fix that doesn’t involve a windows 10 computer, to either change my controller settings or reset back to default.

    Hi again, so you have a problem with the app on your Windows 10 Computer? If so please check if your System is uptodate (via Windows update and also via the app store). If that is fine try to deinstall the app and after a reboot install it new and search
    again for updates via the store app. Check also if all 4 xbox Services are running (via taskamanager) especialy XboxGipSvc.

    Xbox controller won’t turn on

    the control may need an update, to update it go to the "xbox accessories" application,

    if an update is not available, the batteries may no longer be in good condition.

    Hey all,

    I've been having issues with the Xbox Accessories app in regard to the elite controller. The controller works fine but the app does not work at all. It keeps going to an update needed for the app and there isn't an update needed at all. Tried doing everything
    xbox support said to do on the website with resetting the firmware update and factory reset and nothing works...took my xbox back to gamestop for warranty and the next xbox is doing the same thing.

    It HAS TO BE an application issue with the Xbox Accessories app or something wrong with Xbox updates.

    Anyone else having this issue?
