    Need help trouble shooting


    A few days ago my xbox one (original) would not get past the green start up screen. I have done a factory reset which seems to have resolved the issue for a day or so. Since then however my console has not been recognising
    that one of my seagate external hard drive is plugged in unless I unplug it from the mains and back in again (it has its own power supply). However it now wont launch any games or apps (regardless of where its stored) when it recognises the hardrive they all
    just time out saying "taken too long"

    Whenever I try to do any kind of restart to my console it no longer syncs to one of my controllers and takes approx two minutes to sync to the other even though I have done a firmware update on it. This happens both wirelessly
    and when plugged in via micro usb.

    Finally, I have since managed to do two full factory resets and I still get the Error E102 code on the trouble shoot page which I believe may mean the console needs repair? Im curious as to how much a potential repair may be (it may be cheaper to buy a new
    console) and does it seem like all my issues are connected to the same fault or is there multiple faults causing all the different issues im having?

    Hi!

    First, try to uninstall the game and reinstall it from a physical disc. If it doesn't work, try to clear the cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs and try again.

    Probably you had activated the gamepass (subsequently expired) and some corrupt data in the cache or on the profile can cause conflicts.

    If it still doesn't work, try to delete your profile from the console and re-download it again.

    If you downloaded the game first of gamepass you need to reinstall it again from the disc your progress won't be lost

    Yes the xbox answer 101 restart your machine. That does not always work however please try that first. THis could be for many reasons. First has it just happened or is this a one time occurence? Make sure xbox live status is working and there are no issues
    in your case at that particular time.
