Need help.to start a new email??

Unfortunatly, you will need to figure out your own email password, or you will need to start all over with a new account.

Well, in order to change the email address, you may need access to the other email account. HAVE you tried creating a new hotmail account with the email address they have for the account? That is where i would start. It could be the easiest and quickest
solution honestly.

You would have to log into the account that has your email address you want to use now and change the alias.

Then you'll be able to log into the account that has your gamertag and you can switch it.

all the alias is, is another name for the account, there is just one email account, all the email addresses point to that one account. you basically need to create a new account for yourself and start over. there is no way to transfer your xbox account or content to a new account. the account you are using is your dads basically.

Unfortunately, you need to be able to get into the email address you created and signed in with 6+ years ago. Since it was not a real email address, this will not be possible. As Schwarze Seal pointed out, you could try to create the actual email address
that you used and get access to the reset password email.

Your other alternative is to start over with a new Gamertag using a real email address.
