Need help to retrieve a world created in Minecraft that was deleted by the latest update.

I don’t think the version numbers are matching. Latest update for Minecraft on the Xbox says Version 1.14.3002.70.

Have you tried making a copy of the world and trying that? Just please DON’T accidentally delete the world instead of copying it.

she did not delete the world, as the image of the world she made is still there to load,,, but when she loads the saved world she made it's a new map like all her stuff is just not there,it was the xbox360 update that somehow glitched her saved game in minecraft.....she
will be having to her own backups of her games now due to this,,i still have the world seed that she created if that helps......

Yes, I am using the latest updates on both consoles, including the 1.10 update that just released yesterday. Also, it seems being able to play the world that was created on my original xbox one on the xbox one S was a fluke. It's still true that I can
see the worlds on the xbox one S that were created on the original xbox, and not the other way around. However, if I try to play the world on the xbox one S I get a message that the world failed to sync or is corrupted.

I'll consider posting in the Minecraft forums.

Thanks for confirming. Here's something you can try: When creating or loading the Minecraft world you want to play split screen, go to the Multiplayer tab in the side bar and disable 'Multiplayer game'. Then load the world and attempt to join with the second controller.

If it doesn't work, try deleting and reinstalling the game (This won't delete any saved worlds as they are backed up in the cloud).
