    Need help resetting parental password


    Just bought a used Xbox 360 and need help resetting the parental password. I don't think the previous owners new it either as the country locale is stuck on Turkey. Tried doing a few of the combinations of the reset using the controller with no success.
    Chat timed out a few times so couldn't go that route either.

    about accepting terms of use

    you will need to reset the password for the parental account. You can reset this by going to login.live.com and select cant access your account. Xbox customer support do not have the ability to reset the account password or accept the terms of use for you.
    If you cannot reset the password for the parental email you will lose the account.

    Yeah if you have no way of finding the family passcode, the only way to reset it is by calling in support. All of like the first 6 buttons you press are the same for everyone, but the last 4 buttons are determined by your serial number. Only a support agent
    can find the correct sequence for your xbox.

    I tried several of the combos. I was hoping posting the system info would help. I'll try calling support again tomorrow. The wait was 45min earlier today and the chat timed out because of taking to long.

    Hi there,

    in order to reset a family passcode you will need to contact Xbox Support, They will need the serial ID of the console and will do something on their end, after which they will guide you through the steps to reset it on your end.

    Use this link to get the phone number for Xbox Support:
    support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Be sure that the region/country in the bottom left corner is the country you are in.
