    Need Help Recovering Account - Old Phone Number & Locked Out of Recovery Form


    Hi everyone,

    I’m having a major issue trying to recover my Microsoft account and could really use some help. My account was flagged as possibly compromised and now requires verification. The problem is the phone number on the account is old and no longer in use, and I can’t update it to my new number.

    I tried using the account recovery form, but it asks for details from when I first created the account, which was so long ago that I no longer remember that information. Every time I submit the form, it fails because I can only provide my current info, not the old info it wants.

    To make matters worse, I’ve tried so many times that I’m now locked out of the recovery form altogether. I can’t contact support directly because the system won’t let me without verifying my account first.

    I’m really stuck and worried because I have a lot of important purchases and subscriptions tied to this account, including my Xbox games and other software. I really need help from someone who can either guide me through an alternative recovery process or escalate this so I can regain access.

    Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
