Hello fellow Xbox Game Pass (XGP) users,

I hope you're all doing well. I recently encountered an issue with my EA Play account, and I'm hoping that some of you might have experience or insights that could help me out.

Here's the situation: My EA Play account, which is linked to my XGP subscription, got banned for reasons that are still unclear to me. I haven't used it actively for a while, and I was surprised to find it banned when I wanted to play an EA game through XGP.

I've tried reaching out to EA customer support, but the process has been somewhat slow and unproductive so far. I was wondering if any of you have faced a similar situation or have any tips on how to potentially reactivate a banned EA Play account, especially when it's connected to XGP.

If anyone has dealt with a similar issue or has suggestions on how to expedite the account reactivation process, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Additionally, if there's a way to unlink my banned EA Play account from XGP so that I can create a new EA account and continue enjoying EA games through XGP, that information would be incredibly helpful as well.

I'm sorry to hear your EA account was banned. Unfortunately, EA support is the only one capable of reviewing your situation and lift the suspension if you're eligible.

You can try reaching out to them one more time.

Additionally, it is important to point out that it is not possible to unlink a third party account from your Microsoft account, the process always needs to be done in the respective linked accounts management site.

What you are attempting is ban dodging which is against the rules

You have to deal with ea or the game developer within ea play which ever game you were serve the ban to lift it

Simply, EA didn't give me my EA Play subscription included with XGP

it is linked on EA Server side and Microsoft cannot unlink that, and EA will not unlink a banned EA account as that would allow massive abuse and for people to repeatedly get banned and unlink and make new EA accounts and relink. The same is with most companies that you link with. If it was an EA mistake for the account being banned then you would need to take this up with them and get them to unlink it.

Indeed, Microsoft cannot help with an in game ban--- Unless it's a MS game-- This ban was NOT issued by Microsoft so you need to contact EA through the link above. GOOD LUCK!!! (you could also use a different account)
