Need help re-setting microsoft account that no longer has a valid phone or email for...

Hello Jessica, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

First I wanted to mention that as this is an open forum our ability to help is limited only to advice. What I can suggest to you would be to read through this post https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com... on the steps you can take to recover your account.

if your parental email no longer exists you will need to contact xbox customer support and tell them about this. They will probably need to speak to your parent. They will gather some info and escalate this for you. If it definitely no longer exists then
they will create a new parental email for you.

Please go to login.live.com first and select cant access your account. When you enter the email above the characters box it will tell you if the email is a valid Microsoft account email or not. if it is not valid there then support will help you. It is still
valid you will need to try to reset the password as xbox support will not be able to change the parental email if it is still valid.

We have tried all of that. The email account is no longer a valid account with the service provider nor is it valid with microsoft. I have talked to their tech support as well as xbox tech support. I have other microsoft llive accounts.

UPDATE

So, the account I used to use, is no longer a valid account/email with microsoft online.

I would have to create a new account.

On to the next lead... possibility that the DLC content has not been created for backwards compatibility.

You may still run into a problem if you can no longer access the email account your XBOX Live account was bound to. Microsoft did release a security statement over a year to remind everyone to set a secondary contact such as a cell phone or secondary email
acct.
