Need help please!? Continuously lagging since I got new internet

See,I never know if what i have been getting is normal lag or lag comp,But it does seem since i got an internet upgrade,It has been fairly decent except for 1 bar issues that most of the lobby had when it failed to migrate.

This sounds like your internet connection is lagging your xbox. If youre able try taking the internet cable ( it should be white and look like a phone wire) and plug in your xbox. This should cut down any latency or game lag you might be experiancing,
also try checking your internet under your xbox and check to make sure it says nat type is open. If the issue continues then you might need to send the console for a repair, but since the xbox s is old, i reccomend trying to get a one x its faster, also xbox
is restructuring the servers for the next gen console so that is also playing a role.

I got the same problem as MannedSphinx6. I tried your suggestion but it did not work, I still lagging every time i play MW3. I already changed my router and connected my xbox using wired connection rather than wireless and i still lagging. I called my internet
provider and they keep arguing that there is nothing wrong with service. I have really good internet speed but for some reason i just lag in MW3 but in other games like gears of war 3 i do not lag. Someone need to fix MW3 servers please!!!!

Hey! Being disconnected can happen for a few reasons. One could be a lag spike in your internet connection. If it continues to happen, unplug it and wait about one to two minutes. If it continues, you may need a new router all together. Sometimes, it can
be the fact that just too many people are online or doing things that require graphics to run fast, aka just too much is going on.

I got the brand new xbox one x scorpio edition and its constantly lagging. At first I thought I had an ISP issue, then I got my router replaced with a newer version from my ISP. Open port on the xbox, tried different settings and rebooting the xbox one x
back to factory settings. The game will play well in multi player then out of no where it will lag spike to 300-500 and continue so. Only way for me to overcome this is to change from 4g WIFI to 5g WIFI, but since my basic router 5G signal sucks, it will lag
me out of the game.

I decided to get a new router to bypass the basic one that at&t provides. I got the nighthawk x10, It was amazing, played the games in 5G with no issues... but doom fell upon on nighthawk 6hrs later. I woke up to find out my brand new $400 router Wifi antennas
didn't work for some apparent reason. Now I have to return it and find another replacement.

My old Xbox one day 1 console did not have any lag issues. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX THIS NOW!
