need help,my gears of war 3 has been installed and played and now cannot get it to play

I just experienced the same problem after playing several hours of Gears of War 3. When I exited the game and left the room, came back and I was disconnected. Now I'm getting that stupid MTU error crap again, but yet my buddy I play Gears of War 3 with,
never had this issue and he has Cincy Bell for internet. I seriously think it's a Road Runner problem.

This has been happening to me on Gears of War 3, and it's also been happening on Gears of War 2. I can play by myself fine, but when I try to split-screen with my girlfriend, it freezes constantly. They had BETTER find a fix for this without having to lose
progress or stats.
