Need help launching Minecraft java

The Minecraft launcher you are referring to is only for the Java edition of Minecraft. The Java edition and Windows 10, are two separate games. In order to launch and play Minecraft from the launcher you are using in the last image, you must buy the Java
edition from the site, not the Windows 10 version. Minecraft Java Edition | Minecraft. Annoying I know, but when Microsoft acquired Minecraft they released
their own version of the game on their platform. Hope this helps

For Minecraft Java, it is not possible to sync game time or time played with the Xbox app because this game does not actually run through the Xbox app or the Microsoft store.

This game run only through the Minecraft Launcher. It appears to all of us as N/A in “Time Played”.

Regarding the message: “click here to use the launcher to play!”, this happens if you try to launch Minecraft Java through the Xbox app, and that's because as I indicated previously, Minecraft Java runs through the Minecraft launcher and not through the Xbox app.

Now, If you have problems starting or installing Minecraft java from the launcher, then make sure your internet connection is stable. Minecraft Java can only be launched and installed through the Minecraft launcher.

whenever i try to launch minecraft via its (MS Store) launcher it tells me Looks like you need to renew gold but i have a microsoft version and java version of minecraft if i try to launch minecraft via the shortcut i get an error and redirected to the ms store page for minecraft link for the ms store looks like you need to renew gold : https://imgur.com/a/7R7HPFF

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having technical issues with Minecraft due to error code -1. This usually happens when your system can't detect your Java. Please follow my recommendations below.

Step 1: You need to open the Minecraft Launcher and click 'Launch Options'

*Note: If you're using the new launcher go to Minecraft: Java>Installations tab>Latest Release and click the 3 dots then edit. Now click more options then you'll see the Java executable box.

Step 2: In settings, make sure the 'Java executable' box is checked/ticked/set to green.

Step 3: In the text box next to 'Java executable', you need to remove the w oat java, and make sure that the code in the box reads like so: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\java.exe

Step 4: Save your changes then try launching the game.

Step 5: If that does not work, you made need to delete and re-install Java and/or Minecraft itself.

hello

that worked, but i can only play minecraft java with it. With other 3rd party apps(like curseforge for java, and bedrocklauncher for bedrock, both dont pirate minecraft) i managed to launch java and bedrock, but couldnt log into bedrock. When i play java, i always use curseforge, because i have a modpack with shaders and stuff like that, and for java i dont need to log in via xbox to play online. The problem is that i cannot log into bedrock, not even with other accounts.
