Need Help Getting DR3 to Play

I've had nothing short of a miserable experience with Dead Rising 3. To begin, my console is fully updated with the latest patches.

The problem: IF I'm able to get the game to play, after a little while of playing textures and maps fail to load, so it looks like I'm walking around empty space. But more often than not, the game simply will not load. It'll either get hung up on the initial
loading splash screens, or I'll get to the point when I select where I want to start, and it just infinitely loads. I had no trouble playing the game prior to the first major game patch.

What I've tried: Countless hard resets. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game both online and offline more times than I count. I've also completely reset the console. These haven't fixed the issue.

Is there some disparate setting that will somehow enable this game to play? DR3 is the only game I own for the console currently, so I can't exactly test something else out. But that shouldn't matter....the game should play normally. I'm wondering if it's
a hard drive issue that is preventing the game from loading. I just don't get it but any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Choices?!

I am getting Forza 5 on Launch Day but plan on getting more games on Black Friday. I need help choosing between Ryse, Ghosts, and AC. I am getting DR3 for sure though, open world looks epic.

 

I was gonna tell yo to uninstall and re-install but you've already done that. And also to clear the harddrive but you did that. The only real advice i have for you is to either

A. depending on how long ago you bought the game just take it back and exchange it, most places either have a 60-90 return/exchange policy. or

B. Call xbox support, i say this as my 2nd suggestion because we all know what kind of a hassle that can be and should be avoided at all costs unless its a last resort kind of thing
