[Need help] Forza Horizon 5 pre-order downloaded game disappear itself

I tried to download the game several times on PC from microsoft store, but everytime me device went back from sleep mode, the downloaded game disappears, and i have to painstakingly download again.

Does anyone have the same issue here? I wonder it's wrong with my device or is the game itself.

Appreciate some help!

It happens sadly after each time the download is already completed and the game actually launches before disappearing.

The drive isn't freed up when that happened.

Sorry for getting it wrong. Could you tell me if the space that the game consumes on your hard drive is freed up when the game disappears too?

Perhaps reinstalling the game service will solve your problem with the game disappearing. Follow the path below, hope it works.

Launch PowerShell as an administrator and enter

“get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

Restart your PC, open PowerShell as admin again, and enter

“start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

The Microsoft Store will open and ask to install Gaming Services, install.

Got it. Reinstalling the gaming service didn't solve the problem? Would you be able to install/move the game on another hard drive?

Hi,

To add up, I also installed other games at the same time, such as riftbreaker and Forza horizon 4, but they didn't disappear.
