Need help for fps drops on high end pc ( my fps only drops on Fortnite)

Make sure that both the graphics card driver and the motherboard chipset driver are updated to the latest version. AMD and Nvidia regularly release optimization updates, especially for performance optimization of specific games.



If your CPU or GPU is overclocked, it may cause instability.

Enter the BIOS to restore the CPU and GPU to default frequencies.

Restart the computer and test the game.

If you are using full screen mode, try changing to windowed borderless mode to see if there is any improvement, and vice versa.

the xbox one x will hold the game at around 30 fps but can drop to 23 or 24 fps at some points but of your pc is high end you may get a slight better experience

he is on about fps, fortnite barely runs 60fps on xbox one as it is, fps will drop with the latest updates especially with more stuff on the screen.

xbox one can barely run anything at 60fps as it is.

these are online games that are dependent on other people's connections for performance, in addition things like explosions will definitely affect your overall frame rate. You'll find most FPS using an adaptive frame rate to keep the action consistent

Like you, I've also been playing D3 a lot lately. I've only had MP lag problems once so far. My MP experience has been pretty smooth when the stuff hit the fan with 4 players going full throttle(Knock on wood).

I back out and search for another lobby. If it keeps putting into the same bad lobby, I find something else to do, like build another character then search again a little later to see if it gives me a better host or sets me as the host.
