    Need help downloading Ark from Microsoft Store


    Hi. I recently bought the Windows version of Ark from the Microsoft store because steam Ark is not cross playable with Xbox players. I already have Ark downloaded in my steam library and I don't want to have to download the 100+ GB of game that ark is. Also, I have limited data that I can use. Is there a way that I can transfer some of the files from the steam version that I already have installed into the folder were the Microsoft Ark is installing?

    It is ashamed that large companies can't work together to make life easier for their users.

    Looks like I might be making a trip to Mcdonalds to use their Wi-Fi.

    I Just thought of something else.

    If I do go to like a Starbucks to download this, I'm not going to take my desktop.

    Could I take a laptop, download the game to one of the drives, and then transfer the game to my desktop?

    Or does it need to be downloaded onto the device you are going to play it on?

    So if I downloaded the game onto a micro sd card from a laptop at Starbucks, would I be able to then move the game onto one of my desktop drives or do I have to download the game on the desktop?
