Need help connecting to a friends game through the xbox game bar.

To use Xbox Social features, sign in with your Microsoft account. Press Windows logo key + G to open the Game bar, choose Settings > Accounts, select Sign in, and follow the steps. Game Transcription and Chat – Enable text-to-speech/speech-to-text features for Xbox multiplayer games and party chat. To find your friends:
Press Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar.
Check the Widget menu and choose Xbox Social.
Choose the Friends tab.
Double-click a friend's gamertag to start a conversation, or right-click to see advanced options (invite them to a game, view their profile, and more).
To start a group chat, double-click a friend's gamertag to start a conversation, select Add someone, choose the friends you want to invite and press Done.

It's best to use the Game Bar now on Windows 10 to chat to your friends on consoles or PC.





If you have an Xbox controller connected to your PC, pressing the Xbox Button will also activate the Game Bar.

yes, we tried everything, inviting through xbox companion, through game bar, in game... it seems they cant even connect to open servers, after about 20/30 seconds of trying to connect it displays that they couldn't connect.
