Need help about changing the subtitles language

Please, make sure the Language and Location are set to your Country (Region).

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings > System > Language & Location.

The Language, Language region, and Location settings allow you to change the language display info on your console.

Then restart your console via a power cycle.

To do it, follow these steps:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Many games have Portuguese audio and subtitles. We definatly need the option to choose Audio language and Subtitle language

Other consoles do this with no problem.

Can't you just change it in the settings?

I've search in the settings and I can't see anything about language, aside for the subtitles.

In the game self you can change the language in the settings tab in the game there you usually can select subtitles and change the language of the game itself

Sorry about ressurect this topic. But I Disagree. Yes, they are INSIDE the games, as I believe. I can play in portuguese, with portuguese subtitles and audio... or I can change my region in the xbox setup, go and play with original audio (english) with english
subtitles. So, all the information required are inside the game. All we need is an option to enable the choice. And another disagree: Its a Microsoft decision. Microsoft just can put a simple clausule to their developers, demanding the option that allow user
change from audio / subtitles languages.
