    Hi Microsoft Team,

    I am from germany, sorry for my englisch.

    I have got the xbox one usb tv tuner . This one:

    It worked flawlessly fine till august 2015. then my cable provider unitymedia switched channel frequencies and rearranged some channels.

    Now the usb tv tuner can't find most of the channels cause it only searches at specific points for a TV-Channel, for example Channel A at 12.500 but it has been moved to 13.700. So the xbox one tv tuner "thinks" that there is no Channel A anymore which is
    not true cause a regular receiver can find Channel A with a regular scan/search.

    So, Microsoft, please! contact unitymedia germany and update the channel list for north rhine westfalia esspecially MÜNSTER.

    Because the usb tv tuner is useless since august and that is very dissappointing!

    Problems with the USB TV Tuner for XBOX One (Provider: Unitymedia Germany)

    Hello,

    I'm having trouble with the USB TV Tuner for XBOX One.

    During the setup, when channels are scanned, never all offered channels are found. Strangely, when starting a new scan some channels are found, that weren't found before and some other channels, that have been found in the previous scan, are missing.

    But never all channels appear in the list.

    It is possible to find all channels with a regular TV Tuner, so the problem has to be with either the USB TV Tuner or with the frequency list that it is using (I think the USB TV Tuner is downloading a list in the setup, when you have to type in your zip
    code and cable provider?).

    USB Digital TV Tuner no longer finds any channels after disconnecting, reconnecting and rescanning

    Hi

    I added the Xbox one USB Digital TV tuner and successfully scanned >120 channels. I watched a few channels and quality was great. I then disconnected and reconnected the aerial, and the tuner then no longer detected any signal. I tried re-scanning the
    channels, and also reconnecting the USB tuner. I've tried clearing the OneGuide and History, then re-scanning channels and going through TV setup from scratch. I've also tried disconnecting the tuner, powering off the Xbox One restarting and going through
    TV tuner set up - still nothing. I know that the aerial connection is fine as my TV scans and finds the same number of channels when I connect the aerial to it directly.

    Any ideas?

    Missing channel icons

    How do I change postcode. At the moment , the setup is free to air tv using xbox one usb tuner, region is Brisbane, QLD, Australia. The channel data and info is correct, the only problem is it lists all the channels by number, 1,2,3,4,5 and I don't know
    what channel is what without selecting. Hence the reliance on the channel icons. This only happened after last update about a week and 1/2 ago.

    This may be irrelevant, but I have a question about the TV tuner. I understand that you plug the tuner into the XB1 through USB, not HDMI. I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to my XB1 through the HDMI-in port. In order to play 360 games, I have to use the TV app,
    and the TV tuner uses the TV app as well in order to work. I also understand that when you plug in the TV tuner, the OneGuide separates the TV tuner channels from the "HDMI content". My question is this: if I have a TV tuner with a coax cable connected through
    the XB1's USB port AND an Xbox 360 connected through the XB1'S HDMI-in port (both at the same time), can I switch between my Xbox 360 and my TV tuner when using the TV app? Thanks for the help!

    Enen, that's not a rumour, the Xbox One digital TV tuner is coming out in October and will cost 25 quid. It basically allows you to watch Freeview on the console, pause Live TV, use voice commands to change channels, works with DVB, DVB-2 and a 3rd one which
    is DVB-C..? Anyways, you get your aerial lead and plug it into the tuner and then plug the USB bit into the Xbox One's many USB ports to be able to use the OneGuide. Should be able to use the Smartglass as an Xbox One media remote too.

    The TV tuner is an alternative to a set top box which won't require you to use the HDMI in port.

    Same issue here. Noticed it yesterday evening, all channels are gone with the OTA USB Tuner. Xbox One scans the channels but that's it.

    I also have a Samsung tv with a built in tuner, however the Xbox One TV tuner is what you need to get OTA tv through the Xbox via oneguide without the need for a set top box, which is what I have running with no problems. If you are looking to get cable
    channels without a box, that's a totally different animal though.
