Need a little help with offline system update

What happens when you try to launch the Offline System Update? Are you getting any type of error code, the system just doesn't boot in to it, etc.? We need to have a little more information before we can attempt to help you

you could try to do a factory reset, but select the option to keep your games, and see if that helps fix the issue. It could be that an update installed a bit wonky and if the factory reset doesn't fix it you could try an offline update

However, if the issue still persists, your console will need to be repaired.

Hopefully the offline update will work for you, the "update your console" bit does, if I remember right, does that if it doesn't find an update.

sometimes I think updates can install a little bit wrong, on pretty much anything no just xbox

For doing an offline update, you need an USB drive with at least 6GB of free space which is NTFS formatted.
